Whether due to its size or its function, this imposing building has forever marked the City of Estremoz. It was here that, in 1878, the first electrical mill in the municipality supplied the entire city with electricity. And light was made! It marked the history of the city and its surroundings.

In recent times of physical dignity, this wonderful warehouse was the Agricultural Alfaia Museum that told the stories of the land through more than 4000 pieces of agro-pastoral work. Pieces recovered from abandoned houses, outdoors or donated by farmers. A cultural phase hosted by this century-old space that has unfortunately been neglected.

The Building of the Former Factories of the Estremoz and Veiros Grinding and Electricity Company you will find it right at one of the city entrances and despite the marked wrinkles in its beauty, it still lights up Rua Serpa Pinto welcoming Estremoz.
