The history of the plant began in 1858.
In 2008, the plant was taken over by a company that developed and improved it until 2019, becoming one of the largest producers of alcoholic beverages in Latvia.
The plant was renovated - during 2001-2008, they invested 3,300,000 euros (2,300,000 lats) in major repairs of buildings and modernization of production lines, which were purchased in Italy, Israel and Russia.
In 2020, the company acquired the following property:
- a bottling workshop with a total area of 2234.2 m2;
- a land plot with an area of 3.19 hectares;
- equipment for the production of alcoholic beverages.
The total value of the property, according to the 2018 valuation report, was EUR 2,880,000.00 (two million eight hundred eighty thousand euros).
All assets belong to one company.
As part of the reorganization of the enterprise, it was decided to open a new company and lease it the equipment and territory, as well as obtain all the necessary licenses and permits for it. All licenses and permits for production have been obtained for this company.

The main activity of the plant was the production and wholesale of alcoholic beverages, which were successfully sold both in Latvia and abroad, in particular in Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, the USA and other countries.
Currently, the plant is not operating because it is undergoing reorganization.
The company released its last products on April 28, 2019.
The company was certified as a food company and met all HACCP quality control criteria, EU standards and requirements.
In 2014, the company received a license for the production of biological vodka.
